On New Year 2022, children came excited to service. We celebrated it with a welcome party where we did party games and children loved it. We had a sustainable day where children learnt more about how to take care of our environment. We had a water day and the school and children loved this day.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we were not able to do any Incursion or excursion and we canceled them. Instead of this, we had a Lego day and we created lots of challenges and children were happy with that. We celebrated Australia Day and made some craft.

During this time, children helped us to prepare the service for the upcoming holidays. Christmas was their favourite because they made Christmas decorations for the service and our classic cooking: gingerbread. We played some Christmas games and made some craft like elf, a reindeer, Santa and snowman. It was grateful to have such a nice environment for these festivities.

Children had fun with a variety of activities we did in this school holidays. We had a Magic experiments day where we did amazing tricks and everybody participated and enjoyed it. We played to solve a mystery and an OSHC educator provided us some clues and we needed to find the person.
We had an amazing day visiting Monarto Zoo. It was a lovely and sunny day. Children enjoyed the walking trails and discovering some animals, especially the Orangutans. Also, we had a bike day where everybody brought their bikes and enjoyed riding at the school through an obstacles course. We had a cooking day and an incursion as painting animal faces. This was a great experience for the children because an artist showed them how to draw and colour an animal face.

During this school holidays, we went to Flip Out as an excursion. Children had lot of fun and it was a great experience. Then we had a volcano challenge where children created their volcano and decorate it and the OSHC educator made a “lava”. It was a great activity. We had our Olympics day at OSHC and we we had some sports challenge. Finally, we had a Animal Anonymous as an incursion, they brought to OSHC some Australian native animals and children had lots of questions for the presenter. They had the chance to pat the animals or touched them. We had some marble painting and children made a great artwork.

Children had fun baking some animals using play dough and making some cardboards robots. We played a variety of games, one of them was pin the tail to the bunny. Then children made hand painting creating a monster. They had fun doing it.
All of the students loved to have rolling skating as an excursion and we had a visit from Science World and we had the opportunity to enjoy a stardome.
