2024 – January – Vacation Care

This was a great school holidays with many things that children did, lot of funs and a variety of activities that kept children engaged.

We had a cooking day where lower primary children helped us to prepare some delicious food that we had for our morning and afternoon tea. Then, we had our water day with a bouncy castle slide, weather was perfect and children took all the precautions for a SunSmart. we had the visit of Circus Elements, and Simon taught children a pretty cool tricks and they had a blast trying and being persistent. It was great to see them to performance and practise. Besides, children had a time to dye their own tshirt. It was a great day to see a variety of creations and styles. Well done guys!

2023 – Vacation Care – December

During Christmas holidays, we had a lot of fun, especially making decorations to celebrate Christmas. We played some games and had the opportunity that children expressed their experience how they celebrate Christmas.

2023 – Vacation Care – October

During school holidays, children had fun doing different activities. We had a visit from Lego Animation GooRoo and we went for excursion to Mount Crawford Forest. We had magic experiments day where children had an amazing time. Then, they had a bike day, where they had obstacles course on the school oval. We had a craft day where they did painting creation.

2023 – Vacation Care – July

During this school holidays, children had three weeks of lot fun. We had our paper cache day when kids built their own basket using newspaper and we went as an excursion to Funtopia. They had an amazing day spending time with friends and climbing going around. Then we had the visit of some friendly Australian native animals when children had the chance to ask questions about their animals. One of the new incursion that we had was Games 2U, they brought a variety of board games and children love this activity for 2 hours.

2023 – Vacation Care – April

This School Holidays we had the chance to value the time with our families and friends during Easter and we shared some experiences. Children enjoyed doing craft, the indoor bouncy castle, riding their bike with some obstacles that teachers created for them and our excursion to Inflatable World where they had an amazing time and at the end of the day, they were very happy with that experience.

2023 – January – Vacation Care

During this school holidays, we gave children the opportunity to make a tie and dye a shirt. They loved the design that they created. We have an excursion to Gawler Cinemas to watch Puss in Boots, it was a great movie and everybody enjoyed it. Then we had a Pokemon day when they made their own crafty Pokemon balls and characters. For our incursion, we had a water obstacle course. children had a blast with it playing the whole day.

We celebrated Australia Day with some craft activities and we had our wacky science where kids put into practise their curiosity.

2022 – July – Vacation Care

During this school holidays we had 3 weeks. In the first week, we had a board games day, where children were allowed to bring their own and played with the new board games from our service. We had a rock painting activity and they had the chance to have fun with our indoor bouncy castle. Then we celebrate NAIDOC day, children made some art and crafts regarding to this day.

In the second week, we had our spooky day where children made scary craft activities and we had our excursion to Inflatable World. It was an amazing day seeing children jumping all around. Another day children made their own volcano using clay and making it erupted.

Our last week of school holidays, we had the visited of Bumbles the Clown. He presented a magic show where he kept children engaged with the activities. Then, we had our sustainability day where children recognised the importance of looking after our environment. Finally, we finished this week with a well deserved pijamas day.

2022 – April – Vacation Care

During April school holidays, children had a variety of activities. They had two incursions: a visit from Animal Capers to show us some Native Australian Animals and from SciWorld who show us how to make a rocket and everybody had the chance to make their own and tested it outside.

We celebrated Easter with some crafts and celebrated the Holy Week, we shared one experiences and talked about how our family celebrated this important day. We had a magic day where children had the opportunity to some magic experiments and making a monster using your hands and paint. Also we commemorated ANZAC day and talked with children about this day. We had some helpers in the kitchen to prepare some of the delicious recipes. They enjoyed helping in the kitchen. Finally, children had a challenge using their senses with food.

2022 – January – Vacation Care

On New Year 2022, children came excited to service. We celebrated it with a welcome party where we did party games and children loved it. We had a sustainable day where children learnt more about how to take care of our environment. We had a water day and the school and children loved this day.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we were not able to do any Incursion or excursion and we canceled them. Instead of this, we had a Lego day and we created lots of challenges and children were happy with that. We celebrated Australia Day and made some craft.

2021 December – Christmas – Vacation Care

During this time, children helped us to prepare the service for the upcoming holidays. Christmas was their favourite because they made Christmas decorations for the service and our classic cooking: gingerbread. We played some Christmas games and made some craft like elf, a reindeer, Santa and snowman. It was grateful to have such a nice environment for these festivities.
