2024 – Vacation Care – July
During this school holiday, we had three weeks filled with a variety of activities and lots of fun.
In the first week, we made crafts for Carnival Day with an under-the-sea theme, celebrated Italy Day, and went on an excursion to Bounce. The children loved visiting Bounce because the instructor was very supportive, especially for those who were visiting for the first time.
In the second week, we had an incursion from GooRoo Animation. They came to our service to teach us how to create animations using Lego and iPads. The children enjoyed creating different worlds and recording their creations. Additionally, we had our Teddy Bear Picnic Day and a challenge called Minute to Win It.
In the final week of the holidays, the children challenged each other by playing board games, participating in a nature adventure, and enjoyed a visit from the Mobile Junk and Nature Playground at our service. The children built their own cubbies in groups and had fun with a variety of assorted nature sticks. It was a great day to be outside.
